Brick Bay Sculpture Park & swims

We ventured to Brick Bay Sculpture walk today, set amongst the vineyard.

Its really beautiful and full of interesting art in the landscape...





we also had swims on Omaha beach...Daisy does great doggy paddle!

Daisy our Dog

Introducing you to Daisy our new dog, she has been rescued from a poor start in life chained up in a pile of mud...she has been nurtured back to health by the Chained Dog Awareness trust in Auckland and been in foster care until she came to our home tonight.

She is a very gentle natured wee girl and after only a few hours having a sniff around the house and garden and a walk around the block she seems to have settled in.

Were looking forward to many years of love and fun with her....

East Coast Adventure

For New Year's Eve, we headed out to Waihau Bay on the East Coast, location for the movie "Boy"

Joanne's friend Janeen invited us to hang out with her whanau for a few days.
